Congratulations to the Environmental Defense Center, along with co-sponsors Urban Creeks Council and the City of Goleta, for a very successful clean up of Devereux Creek! Thank you Brian Trautwein for leading 13 volunteers–including our always dependable boardmember Louis Andaloro–who together removed 1,369 pounds of garbage from Devereux creek!
UCC will be helping out the Environmental Defense Center with more of these great events.
Please consider coming out to help clean up your beautiful Santa Barbara County creeks! These cleanups are a lot of fun, and with some really great people, trying to make a difference. The remaining Summer/Fall Cleanup Schedule is as follows:
