About the event
Do you want to make our rivers healthier? Do you want to make a difference in your local environment? The Watershed Stewards Program and The City of Santa Barbara will be hosting a Watershed Awareness Volunteer Event on March 21st, from 9AM-1PM!
They will be removing invasive weeds and planting native plants to help restore and repair the upland riparian habitat of Arroyo Burro Creek. No experience is necessary to help out, and they will be providing education on native and invasive plant species, as well as history about the Arroyo Burro Watershed.
To learn more, email dylan.hansen@wildlife.ca.gov with any questions. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, close-toed shoes, and long sleeves.
