About the event

Lend a hand in the stewardship of the Mission Lagoon restoration area! Last month, we began weeding out invasive sweetclover (Melilotus sp.) to make room for native plants. We will be returning to the site this Saturday to continue our progress on other sweetclover patches and maintain the areas we already worked on.

Please contact us at info@sburbancreeks.org to RSVP or ask any questions you have. Please bring your own garden gloves, although we will have a limited number of pairs for those who don't have them. All participants must sign a waiver, or have a parent sign a waiver if under 18. Make sure to bring water, sunscreen, and suitable attire, including closed toed shoes.  If you need your volunteer hours certified on a form for school or work, bring that as well.
