About the event
Join us this Saturday to remove trash from Mission Creek Lagoon before it flows to the ocean, in our first Adopt-a-Beach cleanup of 2026!
Please contact us at info@sburbancreeks.org to RSVP or ask any questions you have. We encourage you to bring your own reusable cleanup supplies (e.g. gloves, trash grabbers, buckets) if you have them, but if not, we will provide you with supplies. Free parking permits for the morning will also be provided. All participants must sign a waiver, or have a parent sign a waiver if under 18. Make sure to bring water, sunscreen, and suitable attire, including closed toed shoes. If you need your volunteer hours certified on a form for school or work, bring that as well.
Mission Creek Lagoon is SBUCC's Adopt-a-Beach site, as part of a Coastal Commission program (administered in SB by the City Creeks Division) to steward California's beaches. Learn more…
