"Volunteers wanted to help restore the Monarch butterfly habitat at Ellwood Mesa!

Join Ellwood Friends, The City Of Goleta and the Bucket Brigade as we work together to restore the Monarch Butterfly Preserve at Ellwood Mesa. 

This is a great opportunity for volunteers of all ages to help transform a damaged ecosystem into a beautiful native pollinator garden for the butterflies, birds, bees and the whole community to enjoy.

Volunteers will park at the Coronado Butterfly Preserve Parking Area and then walk South on the trail, following the Bucket Brigade Signs, to the volunteer staging area.  We will have introductions, coffee and doughnuts and then we will head out into the butterfly preserve to plant seedlings!
