The Dolphin Derby is a fun annual festival of the SB Sunrise Rotary and this year SBUCC will be tabling at it! Support us by volunteering, adopting a dolphin in our name, and/or visiting our table!

About the event
The Dolphin Derby is an annual festival of the SB Sunrise Rotary celebrating the community, local nonprofits, and summer fun! This year, SBUCC will be tabling at the festival to spread the word about watershed stewardship, and we're looking for volunteers to help! We'll be distributing our informational materials, showing people how to find the watershed they live in on our maps, and selling creek map merch. You can sign up to volunteer here.
The Dolphin Derby is unique in its commitment to supporting philanthropy through a variety of organizations, and we're lucky to be one of the organizations supported this year. In the central activity of the festival, hundreds of plastic dolphins are raced down a watercourse for chances to win cash prizes! Adopt a lucky dolphin for just a $10 donation, half of which goes to the Rotary Club's charitable activities and half of which goes to a nonprofit you select (i.e. SBUCC). You need not be present to win.
Even if you're not able to volunteer or adopt a dolphin, please stop by our booth and ask us all your creek questions! We'll also be selling our creek map bandanas and t-shirts.
